Albion, Captain Tozer, arrived from Wellington at 7.30 a.m. to-day. She sails for Melbourne, via South, to-day. The Australian Sovereign got clear of the Heads yesterday, and proceeded on her voyage to Newcastle. The barque Bells was berthed at No. 4 Wharf yesterday. The Advance, schooner. Captain Bennett, left Gisborne on Wednesday, November 29th. Had light northerly weather down the coast till arrival in harbor yesterday morning. The s.s. Tui filled up with cargo yesterday at the Steamers’ Wharf, and sailed for Kaikoura, Wellington, and Poxton shortly after 6 p.m. The s.s. Wanaka took aboard 20 tons cargo, and sailed at 5 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, via Wellington and East Coast. The Maud Graham for Taranaki, and Aspasia for Pelorns Sound, cleared yesterday. The Sea Gull for Manukau, Derwent and Torea for Kaipara, Swallow for Newcastle, Josephine for Auckland, Mary Bannatyne for Hokitika, Circe for Greymouth, and Alert for Wanganui, sailed yesterday afternoon with a light S.W. breeze.
