Tomer and Co.'s Lurline barque cleared this morning for London with a cargo of wheat and wool. »he sails this afternoon if possible. Mr C. W. Turner’s brigantine Circe, with a cargo of sugar, rice, coffee and spices, arrived from Batavia this morning after a splendid passage of 42 days. The Taiaroa, s.s., with inward San Francisco mail arrived at 2 a.m. She sailed south at 1 p.m. Quite a fleet of vessels from the Bluff arrived with loads of timber yesterday afternoon. The brigantine Treleaven Family, Captain Brown, was the first to arrive. She reports leaving the Bluff on Tuesday last, and having light baffling winds to Cape Saunders, which was passed on Thursday morning. That evening experienced strong S.W, gale, at times blowing with hurricane force. It moderated following day, moderate southerly winds prevailing thence to arrival yesterday afternoon. The Seagull, with a load of timber for Guthrie and Lamach, left the Bluff on Saturday, and had strong southerly and westerly winds up to coast to arrival shortly after Treleaven Family. Close on her heels came the brigantine | Sarah and Mary, with 150,0CDft. of timber from the same port. Though last to arrive she has made the quickest passage, as she did not leave the Bluff till Wednesday.
