He considers the quality of the stone of the very highest class, and the quantity practically unlimited. The shareholders have resolved to form a company, and proceed to open the quarries at once. A number of creditors are threatening to sue the Education Board, who are still without funds and overdrawn at the Bank several thousand pounds. Wellington, October 30. The Marquis andJMarchioness of Normanby, and suite, attended Burton's circus for the second time last night. The troupe leave for Christchurch on Friday. The Taranaki, which was to have sailed North at noon to-day, has been detained till to-morrow for the purpose of taking Northern members. It is stated that Parliament will be prorogued to-morrow by Commission.
