The work is a very necessary one and, as the street is of the usual width, it will, when completed, be a very useful addition to the city thoroughfares.

The Cantbebuey Amateur Minsteels.— This newly formed amateur troupe of minstrels made their first public appearance on Thursday evening, at the Sunnyside Asylum, when they went through a most excellent programme, with which the patients and the other persons present appeared to be much pleased.
