The following programme for the season’s matches was arranged at a meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association, held on Saturday : October 5 —Opening matches—Clubs. October 12 and 10—England v Colonics. October 26 and November 2—Universities and Public Schools v World. November 0 and 16—Colts match. November 23 and 30—U.C.C.C. v M.C.C.C. December 7 and 11—Eleven (chose a for Australian matches) v Sixteen. December 21 and 26—Married v Single. December 18 and January I—East v West. January 4 and 11 —Town v Country. January 18 and 25—North v South. February 1 and B—Married v Single, February 15 and 22—England v Colonies. March 1 and B—Town8 —Town v Country. March 15, 22, and 29-Public Schools and Universities v World.
