The Josephine arrived from the Thames to-day, and the Mary Bannatyne, from Hokitika, is signalled. , , The schooner E. U. Cameron left Havelock on Monday, the 16th instant, had north-west winds till off Capo Campbell, and thence light variables and calms until arrival in harbor yesterday afternoon, She brings a cargo of timber. SHIPPING TELEGEAMS. Auckland, September 20. The American barque Morrowcastle, cleared the Customs for New York, with a cargo valued at £12,800, chiefly of kauri gum. W bllinoton, September 20. Sailed Wakatipu, for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, at 6 p.m. Passenger—Mr Bishop. The Mullough, steamer, put in short of coals, bound from Greymonth to Lyttelton. Tijiaku, September 20. The stranded brigantine Lapwing was successfully floated this morning, and is now berthed at anchor in the harbor. Tug expected from Dunedin ts take her to Port Chalmers for repairs. An attempt will also be made to float the schooner Glimpse, which there is every reason to believe will be successful.
