Gilmour. ■ The schooner Colnmbia, from Napier, and the hrigantine Mary King, from Picton, arrived in harbor this morning. The Queen of the West, barque, for Newcastle, and the Swordflsh, brigantine, for Sydney, sailed last night; and the Jane Hannah, for Catlin's Eiver, this morning. The p.s. Luna Bailed for Wellington, Westport, and Greymouth, at 1 p.m. to-day. The Agnes, ketch, Capt. Calver' arrived from Picton this morning. The Soukar will clear for London this afternoon. A barque from the North was signalled to-day. It ia probably the Ceylon from Newcastle. The brig Transport, Captain Barnes, left Newcastle on August 23rd, with N.W. wind, which held a few hours, and then blew fresh from the southward for two days, after which moderate southerly and westerly breezes to making Cape Farewell on the 31st. Passed through Straits following day, and had light winds and fine weather, principally westerly down the coast, arriving at anchorage off the Breakwater at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
