The Customs duties collected here on Saturday, August 17th, amounted to 41244 15s sd. The items were:—Wiuos, 4:15 19s 3d; Spirits, 4192 12s lid; tobacco, 4i56 12s 6d ; sugar, 41U 10s 7d; ad valorem, JB6O ; other duties, £8 IDs. At the sittings of tbe Waste Lauds Board ou Monday, August 19th, 4696 acres 31 perches were disposed of, realising 419392 8s 6d. The land is situated as tinder Ashley, 1241 acres and 31 porenes ; Sclwyn, 529 acres; Aaaroa, 2-0 acres; Ashourtou, 1266 acres j Geraldine, 1440 acres.
