Malla close at the Chief Post Offloe for the following places as under, aubjeot to the neoeasaxj alterations :— aiien " TUESDAY, AUGUST 20. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Otago, per Taiaroa, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m. train; railway station,2.4o p.m. For South and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra, hour of closing in future notice. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Northern ports, per Arawata. The next English mail, via Southampton and Brindisi, will close at Christchurch on or about Saturday, August 24th, J HYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
