COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Timaru, August 1. The Customs revenue for the month of July amounted to £2537 3s Id, being an increase of £ll7l 18s Id on the corresponding month of last year. Wheat shows no activity at 3s lOd. Farmers still hold considerable stocks. Oats 3s 8d to 3s lOd, in strong demand, bat few lots olferiug. Malting barley will fetch from 4s lOd to 5s 3d, hut is very scarce. Auckland, August 2. Mr Alfred Bucklaud reports;—Fat cattle, 355, 37- 6d, per 1001 b; fat sheep, 3d, 3Jd ; store cows, £5, £5 10s. Share Market.—Buyers—South British, 70s; New Zealand Insurance, 89s. tellers —Cniou. 16s ; National Bank, 81s ; Bank of New Zealand, 21s ; New Zealand Loan £6. G. W. Biuney reports:—No alteration in grain or produce trade. Wheat. 5s ; oats, 4s Od; maize, 5s 3d, 5s 6d ; flour, £l2, £l2 10s ; oatmeal, £2l, £22 ; barlev, 235; butter, lid, in demand. Wellington, August 2. Mr George Thomas reports produce prices of follows:—Flour, Adelaide, £l7 to £l7 10s : Colonial, £lllss to £l2 ; oats, 4s 9d ; wheat, 4s 3d; brau. Is 6d, not a sack to be had; haras, 9d; bacon, 8d ; cheese, 7Jd; pollard, 7s 3d; maize, 5s 6d, 5s 9d ; butter, lid; potatoes, £4 15s to £5.
