Arawata, from Melbourne via South, arrived in harbor at 1115 a.m., and sails for Wellington this afternoon. CLEAEANCE OF THE WAVE QUEEN. This ship cleared for London yesterday, and was towed out into the stream. Captain Anderson hopes to sail to-morrow. His ship is in cap.tal trim, and takes home a valuable cargo, of which we append particulars 353 casks and cases tallow 5,123 .8384 sacks wheat and 11 ur , B ’5,X 752 bales wool and skins 15,040 Sundries SHIPPING. TELEGEAMS Wellington, June 27. Arrived-Barque Whittington, 969 tons, from Cardiff. 109 days out. Her second officer, David McLellan, was washed overboard on the otli ot June during a heavy gale. The ship was immediately brought np to the wind, and an attempt made to launch a boat, but owing to the heavy sea it was found impossible to do so. The ship experienced heavy weather throughout the voyage. She brings 6675 railway bars. Port Chalmers, June 27. Sailed—Ships Strathblane for Oregon, and Gleudarnel for San Francisco.
