INTERPROVINCIAL.
[per press agency,] Dunedin, May 7. An alarm of fire took place at Dr. Somerville’s lecture in the theatre last night, the building being filled with smoke from a chimney which caught fire in tho neighborhood. The audience were assured that there was no danger, and order was restored. The High School Board have taken steps to have the High School periodically inspected in terms of the Act. Tho Attorney-General leaves for Wellington to-morrow.
