POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at tire Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : TUESDAY, MAY 7. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Akaroa ana Otngo, per Wauuka, at 11 a.m.; late letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, MAY 8. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Bingarooma. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, at **.‘lo p.m. Guard’s van must not bo used for Tui’s mails, SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
