POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : TUESDAY, APRIL 30, For Otago, overland, at 11 a.in. For'Wellington, and Sydney, per Easby, at 11 a.tu.; late letters 11.20 a.in,; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For Otago, per Taupo, at 1.50 p.m ; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tni, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for the Tui’s mails. The uost English mail via Suez will close -Ith May* PVDKE Y J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
