Mills close at the Chief Post, Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations A?pJL For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Taiaroa, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. tr por Wellington, Nelson, and Australian colonies, per Tararna, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station^O D P A m.tram fe . iL Mails per Rotorua will close ns under:— For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continent of Europe, America, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, Ac., &e., at 4 p.m.; late letters, 4.20 pm.; railway station, 5.30 p.m. train. , , , , , „ , Money orders can be obtained up to 2 p.m., and letters registered up to 3 p.m. Newspapers aud book packets must be posted before 3 p.m. , , , , Late letters for mails per Rotorua can be posted in the guard’s van attached to the 5.30 p.m. Lyttelton train, on the 26th iust., provided such letters bear in addition to the full postage a farther single rate of postage as a late fee.
