Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the (following' pieces as under, subject to the necessarj alterations :- g^ruE£)AY> ApEIL 13For Otago, per Taranaki, at 11 a.m.; late letters, 11. -0 a.m. ; railway station, 12.10 p.m. tram. MONDAY, APdIL 10. For Northern Ports, per Alhambra. The next Australian mails will close aT; Christchurch on or about Friday, the 19th inst. The next English mail, via San Francisco, will close at uhristchnrch on or about the 20th inst. Letters are now delivered by carrier in the Borough of Sydenham, and it is therfito.ru requested that residents in the district will have their correspondence addressed to the strain which theyreside. Chief Postmaster.
