POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails '-olrise at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to Unnecessary alterations „ SATURDAY, APRIL 6. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Oral go, per Taiaroa, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters 2.M p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. Por Karkonra and Wellington, per Im, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, guard’s van, must not be , used for the Tui’s mail. Mails per Arawata will close as under — Por United Kingdom via Southampton and Brindisi, at 3 p.m.: late letters 3.20 p.m. For the Australian Colonies, Continent of Europe, India, China, and the East, Otago, &c., at 3 p.m.; late letters, 3.20 p.m. Money orders a* noon. For registered letters, boohs, and newspapers, at 2 p.m. Note—Late letters can be posted in the guard s van attached to the 4 p.m. train for Lyttelton, provided such letters bear in addition to the full postage a further single rate as a late fee. The English mail, via Southampton, will be duo in London on the 10th June, and via Brindisi on the 3rd June. ' Letters are now delivered by carrier in the Borough of Sydenham, and it is therefore requested that residents in the district will have their correspondence addressed to the street in which they reside.
