Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations ~ „ WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Mauritius direct, per Sunbeam, at 11 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters 2.10 a.m.j railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Southern Ports, per Star of the South, at 4.45 p.m. Note—Late letter-box guard’s van must not be used for this mail. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, at 4.45 p.m. Note—Late letter-box guard’s van must not be used for the Tui’s mail. THURSDAY, APRIL 4. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Northern ports, per Taranaki, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train.
