The Arawata left Melbourne at 7 p.m. on March 27th. She brings 30 saloon and 25 steerage passengers ; 405 tons cargo for all ports. She experienced thick weather, preventing her entering Foveaux Straits. Passenger for the Bluff, Sir John Coode; for Lyttelton, Mr Anderson, and 6 steerage, with 65 tons cargo. She sailed at 4 p.m. lor Dunedin. Port Chalmers, April I. Sailed—Albion, for Bluff. Wellington, April 1. Sailed—Hawea, for the South, at 5.30 p.m. Passengers—Messrs Bridge, Wrig, Short, Fox, Coulter, Thompson, Demant, Keith, Miss Cochrane, Mrs Fox, Eev. and Mrs Dewsbury, The Merchant Shipping and Underwriters’ Association have received the following shipping intelligence : London, March 12, Arrived—Lady.
