The Emperor is inclined to reduce the terms on which he would be disposed to accept the terms of peace, provided Turkey accepts Russia’s proposal to enter into an offensive and defensive alliance with her. It is semi-oflicially stated here that the conduct of England, in insisting on submission by Russia of the terms of peace, is an act of chicanery, done with a view of concealing her offensive intentions. Constantinople, March 26. The Russian troops are embarking for homo. London, March 25. The ship Eurydice capsized in the Channel. Four hundred lives was lost.
