RAILWAY RETURNS.
The subjoined railway returns were published in a “ Gazette ” issued on March 21st. The ‘ Gazette” itself is, as has now become nsnal, late in arriving, and it is to the “ New Zealand Times that we are indebted for these tables. The traffic returns for the New Zealand Railways for the four weeks ending on the 9th February last, and the corresponding returns for the same period of 1877 were as follows : 1878. 1877.
