Mails close at the Chief Post Office tor the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations • TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Wannka, at 1.50 p in.; late letters, 2.10 p.m. j railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Hawea, at. 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2,10 p.m. train. For South and Australian Colonies, per Eiugarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2,10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Chatham Islands, per Island Lily, on or about February 26th. SYDNEY J. DICK. Chief Postmaster.
