At the Land Office, on Thursday, 4118 acres were sold, their value being £8236. The following were the quantities sold in each district;—Ashley, 255 acres; Selwyn, 88 acres: Akaroa, 274 aores; A ahburton, 1633 acres j Geraldine, 807 aores; Waimate, 1561 acres.
