The following were the duties collected at the Customs-house on Thursday :-Spirits, £22310s 9d; wine £23 3s 2d; beer, £4 15s ; tobacco, £2B 12s 6d ; cigars, £1414s 9d; teas, £46155; saddlery, £1310s; woolpacks, £14125: kerosene, £SO; hardware, £230 12s; sundries, £36 2s lid. At the Land Office, on Thursday, 4118 acres were sold, their value being £8236. The following were the quantities sold in each district;—Ashley, 255 acres; Selwyn, 88 acres: Akaroa, 274 aores; A ahburton, 1633 acres j Geraldine, 807 aores; Waimate, 1561 acres.
