MR GEE’S GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
On Thursday the scholars attending Mr Gee’s Grammar and Commercial School had their usual annual treat in the schoolroom, Worcester street. After all had partaken of a substantial tea, the prizes were distributed by Mr C. W. Bishop, who addressed a few words of advice and encouragement to the boys gaining them. The usual cheering ensued, after which an entertainment, consisting of readings, reciting, and singing was given by the scholars. During the evening Mr Gee was presented by the boys, as a mark of their esteem, with a terrestrial globe and a handsome cigar stand. result of examination. First class—Scripture —Ist, H. A.
