CHRISTCHURCH. Satuedat, Decembee 8. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq., R.M.] Drunkenness. Mary Maule, an old offender, was fined 40s for drunkenness, and cautioned that her list since the last term of imprisonment was fast filling up. Indency.—Jesse Borthwick, with several alaises, was charged with committing this offence on three separate occasions. The first charge which was not shown to have been committed in a public place was dismissed, on the second he received two years’ hard labor, and on the third charge one year, or three years in all.
