At the sittings of the Waste Lands Board yesterday 779 acres were disposed of, realising £1558. The land was situated as follows.- —Ashley, 25 acres; Selwyn, 76 acres; Ashbnrton, 22 acres; Geraldine, 636 acres; Waimate, 20 acres. The revenue collected at theCußtoms on Wednesday, December sth, amounted to £558 10s 4d. The following are the items :—Wines and spirits, £267 08 lOd ; bottled beer, £9 12s 6d; tobacco, £99 7s 6d ; tea, £22 3s 6d ; sugar, £lO6 16s lid; confectionery, £9 6s 8d ; currants, £9 lis 8d ; nuts, £5 3s Id; boots, £9 2s ; leather, £6 3s 8d; cement, £l2 10s; stationery, £l6s; wearing apparel, 10s; fancy goods, 6s.
