Two topsail schooners were beating np the harbor when our express left port. The S.W. wind this morning enabled a great many vessels to sail for their destination. Late advices 'from Svdney communicate the loss the barque Memento, of and from Newcastle for Adelaide, coal laden on Easy End, Foster Is'and, which is situate at the western end of Banks Strait (in lat. 40.42 S., long. 147.58 E.), off Cape Portland, and distant five miles west of Swan Island. The master, Captain Enwald, was drowned, two men died from exposure, and the rest were saved. The hip is a total wreck. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, November 22.
