She drifted on to the rocks and has become a total wreck. Tim pilot's crew put off as soon as possible to render assistance, and secured the sails and a good deal of gear, but the men's clothing and everything in the cabin was lost, having been washed through a large hole bumped in her stern. It was blowing a gale at the time, and the vessel drifted high on to the rocks. The Waihopai belongs to Captain Cross, harbor-master, Nelson, and is believed not to be insured. Signor Ma jeroni drew a very crowded house last night in the " Old Corporal," and the applause was loud and frequent. Nelson, November 10. The Agricultural Show yesterday was a great success. The Timaru Boating Club opened tho season this afternoon by a procession. The proceedings passed off with great eclat. A large number of people were present, including many ladies.
