At the sittings of the Waste Lands Board, on Monday, 2400 acres 32 roods were disposed of, realising £4896. The land was situated as follows Ashley, 1371 acres ; Selwyn, 1 acre 32 roods ; Akaroa, 33 acres; Ashburton, 477 acres ; Geraldine, 287 acres; Waimate, 231 acres.
