Tho revenue collected at the Customs on Monday, amounted to £836 5s 9d. The following were the items Wine and spirits, £346 5s sd; beer, £23 16s lid; tobacco, £43 ss; tea, £46 11s Id; sugar, £274 19s 4d; drapery, £45 4s; boots, £9 6s; sundries, £46 18s. At the sittings of the Waste Lands Board, on Monday, 2400 acres 32 roods were disposed of, realising £4896. The land was situated as follows Ashley, 1371 acres ; Selwyn, 1 acre 32 roods ; Akaroa, 33 acres; Ashburton, 477 acres ; Geraldine, 287 acres; Waimate, 231 acres.
