INTERPROYINCIAL. TatteASGA, October 29. Subscriptions in aid of the Indian Famine Fund are coining in satisfactorily. WELiiWGioy, October 29. Over £IOOO have now been collected here towards the Indian Famine Relief Fund, £9OO being lodged in the New Zealand and Union Banks. Subscriptions are still coming in. Last night Bishop Redwood delivered a charity sermon at St. Mary's, in aid of the Indian Famine Relief Fund. He said their fellow creatures in distress should be helped, irrespective of color ox crew* or distance
away. £SO were collected at the conclusion. i similar sermon was preached at the other Oatholie Church, and £4O collected. The Chamber of Commerce has issued a rjircular to the employees of labor in the town inviting their co-operation in regard to ■,he Australian Juvenile Industrial Exhibition, iy giving, prizes for the young people to ;ornpete for, such as ornamental articles, medals or cash. Dunedin, October 29. The report of the commission on the High School will be forwarded to Wellington about one end of the week. Another prosecution under Bradshaw's Factory Act will shortly come before the Police Court.
