The following is a list of the players and the characters they will represent in the match in aid of the Indian Famine Relief Fund, on Tuesday, October 23rd : J. L. Fountaine, Royal Artillery; J. Mann, Butcher; W.Harris, Fireman ; W. Savage, Policeman (umpire) ; C. P. Hulbert, Policeman (umpire) ; B. Hale, Sailor ; C. Jackson, G-uard of Honor to the Team ; Warner, Judge ;W. R. Mitchell, Whip for the Team ; J. G. Ruddonklau, Mr Pickwick ; J. Ollivier, Gentleman of the Olden Time ; W. Radcliffe, Captain Hautree ; W. Browne, Solan Shingle ; HJThoinson, Mephistopheles; E. W. Seager, H. Hobday, and S. Gurforth, not decided as to characters ; J. H. Bennett, scorer. A meeting of players will be held at Radcliffe's Hotel on Wednesday evening, at 8 o'clock, to appoint a committee and arrange other business.
