The revenue collected at the Customs on Tuesday amounted to £12716s lOd. The following were the items; —Wine and spirits, £l7l 9s sd; ale and stout, £l9 17s Cd; tobacco, £26 2s 6d ; tea, £59 Is 6d: pepper, £5 7s lid; drapery, £97 2s; boots, £32 6s; sundries, £l6 10s. At the sitting of the Waste Lands Board on Monday and Tuesday 11,190 acres wore disposed of, realising £22,380. The land was situated as follows: Ashley, 1019 acres ; Selwyn, 423 acres ; Akaroa, 375 acres; Ashburton, 7113 acres; Geraldine, 425 acres ; Waimate, 1814 acres.
