Tho revenue collected at the Customs on Monday amounted to £35-18s Od. The following were the items:—Wine and spirits, £4l la 3d j tobacco, £8 5s Od; tea, £l3B 16a tid; candles, £lO Ss 3d ; drapery, £92 12s Od; hardware, £1 8s Od; boots, £3B 16s Od; timber, £2 18s Od; stationery and fancy goods, £2 4s Od ; sundries, £l7 15s Od. At the sitting of the Waste Lands Board on Monday 7244 acres were disposed of, realising £14,488. The land was situated as follows; Ashley, 178 acres; Selwyn, 2013 acres; Akaroa, 1401 acres; Ashburton, 1025 acres; Geraldine, 1712 acres; Wainiate, 582 acres. _____ -m
