The following were the items :—Wine and spirits, £270 15s 9d; ale and stout, £57 12s 6d; cigars, £39 12s 6d; tobacco, £63; tea, £99 7s 6d; raisins, £3B 9s lOd; candied peel, £2B; nutmegs and ginger, £2O 8s 9d; almonds, £9 18s 6d; rice, £23 6a 8d: sauce, £l2 18s; boots, £ll4 2s; grindery, £5 ; woolpacks, £BO 6s; candles, £4113s 4d; drapery, £399 2s; hardware, £24 ; ironmongery, £l6; leather, £4 18s Id; stationery and fancy goods, £43 12s; sundries, £225 11s 6d. COMMEECIAL TELEGEAMS. Auckland; September 7. Melbourne flour, £22; Southern, £l9 ; oatmeal, £2O; bran, 5s lOd; sharps, £8; oats, 3s 9dto 3s lOd. Bacon and hams, 7d to 8d; butter, 6d to 7d. Eat cattle, 33s to 37s per lOOlbs ; sheep, 4d per lb. Oamaru, September 7. Breadstuffs are very dull. No transactions of any magnitude are reported. Wheat ranges, according to quality, from 6s to 7s; oats quiet, at 3s 2d; barley nominal, none fit for malting in market; flour, f.0.b., £l7 to £l7 10s ; oatmeal, £18; pollard, £5 10s; bran, £3 15s; potatoes—market glutted, prices nominal.
