His Honor made the order after fourteen days' notice had been given. RE ROBT. MACLEAM. In this case Mr Slater obtained a similar order. RE M. J. KIMBLEY. Mr George Harper applied for the admission of Mr M. J. Kimbley as barrister and solicitor of the Court. His Honor said he had much pleasure iu admitting Mr Kimbley. He might just refer here to one point which had becu mooted by the judges. It was thought that the time had now very nearly come when the Legislature should make a difference in the examination for barristers of that Court. There was now a very large number of gentlemen hi the profession who had had to go through an examination as barristers, and it was therefore hardly fair for the solicitors' examiuation only to admit as a barrister. Of course it was a matter for the Legislature, but it was just as well that these matters should be ventilated. H . RE ESTATE OK J. W. BAILEY, DECEASED.

Mr George Harper applied for an order in this case varying the order herein of May 1871, so as to admit of title of the heir-at-law, John W. Bailey, who had come of age, being recognised. Mr W. Wilson, the guardian of the still remaining infants, had expressed his willingness to give up the title deeds of the freehold property. Application to stand over until next Chamber day for filing of affidavit by the guardian of consent.
