Cotton was fined 10s ; James Parr whs fined in a similar amount; John Brown, who waß still suffering from the effects of drink, was remanded to Lytfcelton for eight days i'oi medical treatment; G-eorge Young, for being drunk and using obscene language, was fined 20s and cab hire ; an inebriate, who appeared for the first time, was fined ss; George Rogers, for being drunk and resisting the police, was fined 40s.
