CHKISTCHURCII. Saturday, May 26. (Before Dr. Deamer, J.P.)

Drunk and Disorderly.—Thomas Henderson, for drunkenness, was lined ss, on the understanding thai lie went up the country to work at once. Robert Dunn, for being drunk while in charge of a horse, was fined 20s ; Daniel Atkinson, ss; Margaret Ellison, whoso name was on the charge sheet for drunkenness, had been taken to the hospital the previous night from the depot very ill. The charge against her was adjourned for eight days. John Dimond was fined 10s. Fighting.—Henry Fall and James McGowan, arrested for fighting in front of a house of ill-fame in the Ferry road, were each fined 10s. LYTTELTON. Saturday, May 26. [Before W. DonaM, Esq., KM.] DRUNKENNESS. —-John Smith and Constantino Sweeney, arrested by Constable Devine, charged with this offence, were each fined 10s. Larceny.—William Harrison, charged with this offence, was further remanded until Tuesday next.
