MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
CHEISTCHUECH. Tuesday, May 15. (Before G. L. Mellisli, Esq., KM.) Drunkenness. —John G-ordon, for being drunk and disorderly while in charge of a horse, was fined 10s. James Dumphy was charged with being drunk and disorderly and using obscence language afc the Christchurch railway station. A fine of 20s was imposed, besides Is cab-hire. Johanna Mahoney was lined 10s and Is cab-hire for being drunk and disorderly. Cornelius Finning was fined 5s for a similar offence. Thomas Hart was charged with being drunk and disorderly and assaulting the police in the execution of their duty. A fine of 20s was inflicted. Thomas Chill was charged with being drunk and disorderly and using obscene language in a public street,' and fined 20s. Obscene Language.—Mary Anderson was fined 10s for using obscene language in a public street. Sureties of the Peace. —The case of Mary O'Brien against James O'Brien was further adjourned until next day.
