THE DRAINAGE QUESTION.

’to the Editor of the Globe

Sib, —I trust you will permit me to call attention, through your columns, to the advertisement, calling a meeting of the ratepayers of the St. Alban's district, for Monday night next at 7.30. The shortness of the notice is unavoidable, as it is absolutely necessary that meetings should be called, in various parts of the district, during the week. It is to be hoped, therefore, that the St. Albans ratepayers will become sufficiently acquainted with the importance of attending this meeting on Monday night, and that, notwithstanding the shortness of the notice, they will attend in force. —Yours, &c, H. WYNN WILLIAMS.
