The Customs’ revenue collected on Wednesday ] amounted to <£losl 4s, as follows: —Spirits, | <£s7l Is 9d; wine £23 15s 9d; tea, £6B 17s; sugar, £lO7 11s lid; tobacco, £BS 12s bd; cigars, £34 12s 6d; drapery, £ll9 14s; boots, £l4 10s; grindery, £9 8s 7d; stationery, £ll 10s; earthenware, £1; fancy goods, £3 10s. The land sold by the Waste Lands Board yesterday amounted to 4677 acres, realising £9354, situated in the following counties:— Ashley, 3030 acres; Selwyn, 484 acres; Akaroa, 20 acres; Ashburton, 500 acres; Geraldine, 613; Wairnate, 30 acres.
