THE TOIAHU RACES. [By Telegraph.] [pROM A CORRESPONDENT OP THE PRESS.] Timaru, April 25. The action of the Timaru Jockey Club last night in rescinding the resolution passed previously with reference to Fishhook, and endorsing the disqualification of both horse and rider by the North Otago Turf Club, gave Aery general satisfaction here. The races are on Thursday and Friday. It is anticipated (hat they nill be more successful than any held here for a long time, owing to the superior qualify of (lie horses. A good many visitors to the races have arrived in town, and, if the weather bo fine, the attendance is likely to he numerous.
