Reappeared that on the 12th inst, complainant was taking the animals to the Papanui pound, and when he had arrived near the place defendant ran up and drove them back. Previous to this two of defendant’s pigs hud been impounded by complainant. The rescue was not a very serious one, and Ids W orship dismissed the case, but ordered defendant to pay the costs, £1 Is. Scott v Thomson; claim, 64 12s ; Air H. N. Naldcr for defendant ; the claim was for wages as cook on board the ketch Unity; Judgment for defendant.
