* .Ketired.

The tie between Yols, Perrin and Ekbcrg could not be decided last evening, as it was too dark when this set had finished.

Range Prizes—Association Cup. 200 yards, Mr Gee’s prize; 300 yards, Mr Fleming's prize.

There were four competitors for the 400 yards range prize as follows; —Sergt. Hill (C.A.Y.), Yol. Ekberg (C.C.G.), Sapper Buckley (Engineers), Mr Pate. At the first round all made bulls-eyes. In the second Sergt. Hill and Yol. Ekberg made bulls-eyes to Buckley’s and Pate’s centres. Hill and Ekberg then fired again, when the former a bulls-eyc to Ekbcrg’s centre, Sergt. Hill thus securing the prize. There were four ties for the 500 yards range prize, but they could not be fired off last night, as darkness had set in. Though the entries were not so numerous this year as at last meeting, yet _ the shooting altogether was exceedingly good, particularly at the long ranges. Possibly the numbers of entries were affected by the absence of many members at Lake Ellesmere and elsewhere during the holidays. The Cavalry march to Southbridg? would also thin the list of competitors. To the committee of the association great credit is certainly due for the excellent arrangements and the success of the meeting as a whole.
