SPORTING.

(From our own correspondent^) Dunedin, March 8.

Little work was done at Forbury this morning, owing to yesterday's work and most horses being up at Lawrence. Cloth of Gold and Dead Heat were out with the light weights doing a steady two mile gallop outside the tan. Both showed good form, going strong. Fishhook and Eclipse merely did walking exercise. Right Bower, Haphazard, and Little Dan also did light work. Neither Hippo' nor King were out.
