THE ALL ENGLAND MATCH.

2o the Editor of the Globe. Sir, —Your correspondent " Cover-Point" has only mentioned one or two of the evils caused by the neglect of the All England committee. It seems to me that one of the worstthingsoccursinthepractice. As asecond eleven player, I see from the humble corner where we practice, the performances of the greater lights, and I have observed that two or three of these try to keep all the batting to themselves. They put up only one net, and so manage to keep all men who cannot come from their work early, out fielding for them all the evening. In particular one individual, who wears a blue coat, always goes in first, stays in about half anhour, and then either goes away or lie 3 down, and is too lazy and selfish to do any fielding. Any thorough cricketer would be ashamed of such conduct. Yours, &c, SECOND ELEVEN.
