For Northern Provinces, per Taupo, at 1.45 p.m; late letters, 2.5 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonics, per Alhambra, at 1.45 p.m; late letters, 2.5 p.m ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Tuuksday, September 21.
Mails per City of Sydney will close as under :
For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1 p.m ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, &c, &c, at 12.40 p.m ; late letters, 1 p.m. For Northern Provinces of Now Zealand, at 1 p.m ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For money orders and registered letters, at noon.
Posting newspapers and book packets, at 12.30 p.ra. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the guard’s van, railway station, by 2,30 p.ra. train, provided that such letters bear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee.
