AMUSEMENTS.

LYDIA HOWARDS TROUPE. There was a good attendance at the Music Hall on Saturday night, when “ Chilperic” was repeated for the benefit of Mr Briggs, scenic artiste, and went well, the performers coming in for a large share of applause from the audience. The latter part of the programme was omitted, owing to some misunderstanding. In consequence of the inclemency of the weather, the projected visit of the Troupe to Kaiapoi has been postponed till a future date. They will play at Lyttelton to-morrow evening. DB MURSKA CONCERTS. The second of the series of concerts by this talented lady will be given this evening at the Music Hall, and will include several choice and new selections, amongst which are announced the grand duo from “ Crispino e la Comare,” by Madlle de Murska and Signor Susini; and the beautifu solo, “Lo I here the gentle lark,” by Mdlle de Murska, with violin obligato by Maestro Strauss Ilia. A grand trio, from Belisario, will_ be given by Madlle de Murska and Signori Rosnati and Susini. The programme will also include a repetition of the celebrated shadow song and dance by Madlle de Murska; and Signori Rosnati and Susini will also contribute several new pieces of music, the former introducing, in English, the beautiful air, “ When other lips.” With such a brilliant bill of fare, which includes a violin solo from “ Trovatore” and piano selections by Maestro Strauss Ilia, we hope to see a large enthusiastic audience again assembled to welcome the second appearance of this highly gifted Hungarian songstress.
