The Customs revenue collected on Wednesday was as follows i

trade during the past month has bee» anything but animated, the principle items comprising 6565 bushels of wheat, 2400 do oats, 446 sacks potatoes, 17 cases preserved meat, 361 bales chaff, 59 do hay, 1 ton flour, 200 bags bone dust, and small quantities of other local produce. There is very little wheat remaining in stock; but of oats a large quantity stillawaits export Grain quotations are about the same as last month, wheat being at irom 3s Bdto 4s; oats, Is 6d to Is 8d; and barley, 2s to 3s nominal. The import trade during the past month has been confined to supplying the immediate requirements of theplace.and the number of vessels arriving has been comparatively small. The coal market is completely glutted ; with a prospect of slocks being still further increased by some 1600 tons now afloat. Flour (wholesale) is fetching from£ll 10s to £l2 per ton; best oatmeal, £l6; nharps, £5 10s; bran, £4; potatoes at the rate of £2 10s.
