AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDS TROUPE. “ The White Cat” drew a good house on Saturday night at the Music Hall. The caste of the piece was the same as on former occassions, and the burlesque went exceedingly well, and was highly appreciated by the audience. To-night will be the last time of its performance, as it has to be withdrawn for the purpose of placing Byron’s extravaganza of “Ivanhoe” on the stage. Some splendid scenery has been prepared by Mr Briggs for this production, and Herr Schott intends to introduce some of the latest and best musical compositions, and the piece we have no doubt will be well patronised. We notice that a second staircase has been added to the gallery, so that the means of ingress and egress may now be considered perfect.
