An examination of the observations of eighty years, he alleged, showed this coincidence. We shall see shortly if the same holds good on this side of the globe. Mercury—sd at noon, Mercury in conjunction with the sun ; 6d 6h a.m, in greatest heliocentric latitude north; 7d 5h a.m, Mercury in conjunction with Mars, Mercury Odeg 3Smin north; 13d, at soon, in conjunction with the sun; 21d lh a.m, Mercury in conjunction with the moon, Mercury Odeg 22m north; 29d 6h p.m, in descending node. Venus—sdllh a.m, stationary; I7d 4h a.m in conjunction with the moon, Venus lOdeg 38rain south; 17d 2h p.m. Venus at greatest heliocentric latitude south. Mars—Bd llh p.m, will be in greatest heliocentric latitude north ; and on the 19d 7h p.m in conjunction with the moon. Mars ldeg 12min south. Jupiter—l6d 7h a. m, will be in quadrature with the sun; and on the 2Gd lh p.m, in conjunction with the moon. Jupiter, sdeg 42min north. Saturn—7d 6h p.m, will be in conjunction with the moon. Saturn, Odeg 38min south; and on the 28d 4h a.m, in opposition to the sun. Uranus—On the 13d 7h a.m, will be in conjunction with the bud. Neptune-On the 9d 4h a.m will be stationary.
